In the fall of 2004, Florida native and breakbeat artist Keith MacKenzie started illeven:eleven recordings. The vision was simple…to provide the people with a breaks sound that revolves around innovation and energy, while at the same time incorporating a wide variety of elements that will generate a groove that will make people move. In the process, i11 hopes to tear down the barriers of breakbeat sub-genre’s and looks to the present and future to adopt its own definitive sound which will be a favorite of breaks lovers around the globe and emerge as a symbol for quality music. With contributions from some of the most skilled and hard-working DJ’s / MC’s / Producer’s in the dance music scene, illeven:eleven is widely observed as one of the top up-and-coming labels within today’s breakbeat scene.

MC Flipside has toured the world several times, repeatedly igniting countries like: Canada, U.S. , Mexico, Holland, Slovenia, Austria, Puerto Rico, Japan, Hong Kong, Germany and England . As his international presence grew, so did the interest of some major international superstars. Flipside was invited to headline alongside Black Eyed Peas, Run DMC, Wu Tang Clan, De La Soul, KRS 1, Sir Mix A Lot, Dee Lite, D12, and Mos Def. He was the only Canadian MC ever to be featured on the hugely popular Moonshine Records imprint. His music has been licensed by Sony BMG Australia, by DJ Jean for MTV Ibiza, and by superstar DJ/Producer Antoine Clamaran. Flip has also collaborated with award winning producers like Juno Winner Hatiras, Granite & Phunk, Dub Deluxe, Tune Brothers, Jamie Fanatic, Juno Nominee M1, Paranoid Jack, Baby Anne, Deekline, Double C, and countless others. MC Flipside appeared on the underground smash hit “Vegas” produced by the renowned electronic producer D Fuse. The track was featured on NBC’s hit show “Vegas” and MTV’s Road Rules. Flipside also scored two #1 hits on CBC’s Galaxie Radio: Freak the Frequency and Acid the Phenomenon.

Eric Berretta a pioneer dj of the Florida Breaks & Electro scene since the mid 90’s. Eric contributed to establishing the Breakbeat movement as a resident dj @ The Coliseum nightclub in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Coliseum was voted America’s number 1 nightclub by Billboard Magazine. Since 1997, Eric has become a staple in Florida Breakbeat culture developing a signature sound with his brother and co-partner Alex as the Berretta Bros. Eric quickly became a Daytona favorite playing all the hot clubs during the 90’s from The Coliseum to Sol-rays, Stealth Club to 600 North. In 1999 Eric left Florida and ventured out spending over a year in Charlotte, North Carolina (Charlotte’s underground scene was peaking) where promoters took interest in his signature Florida Electro-Breakbeat sound. This pushed the envelope for Eric to play numerous times for huge crowds at the infamous “Bass Wars” parties held @ Area 51, Funkadelic Events @ The Baja, Decepticonz Events @ Latino House, Greenville Convention Center Raves, late night clubs 519, 618, Exit Lounge, and more. At turn of the century in 2000, Eric returned to Florida and released cd compilation Florida Breaks volume 1 and then volume 2 again in 2001, gaining Eric national recognition as a Southeast favorite! During that same time period Eric became the resident dj for Orlando’s own world renowned Club @ Firestone. Eric continued establishing himself as a Florida favorite while moving on to perform at stellar electronic events in Florida like: Ultra Music Festival, Future Sound of Breaks, Global Gathering and many more. Today Eric plays a vital role for the Future Sound of Breaks Collective & World Tour mastering his craft in the Breakbeat world as his saga continues with the release of Future Sound of Breaks volume 2. Straight from Miami, Florida (the undisputed home of the 808 kick drum) comes Hydraulix. The of the most talked about and exciting Electro-Bass group to hit the Electro scene. Utilizing futuristic beats with an emphasis on dirty ass bass, their tracks are set to destroy dance floors worldwide.

Richard ..Ash-Rock.. Zarate and Jaime ..JimiTheGenius.. Merlo have been dropping bass in their DJ sets for years (most notably as resident DJs for world renowned Culture Productions), all the while drawing from their childhood influences (2 Live Crew, Debonaire Records, Cut It Up Def Records, MC A.D.E, and Maggatron to name a few) to create a unique, dance floor friendly hybrid of Electro and Bass. Ash-Rock and JimiTheGenius then set their sights on conquering the world of production. Once they were comfortable with the knowledge that they had acquired from Merlyn a Breakbeat ambassador and Xerodefx . They quickly began banging out some of the sickest floor bombs on their co-owned label with Merlyn, which is Kuad Recordings. For Hydraulix, these to young stars have a bright future from the city of boom where they reside.

Aaron Sigmon has quickly become one of the driving forces of the breakbeat movement in the US. Delivering his energized style of breaks to clubs and events nationwide, Aaron has earned the reputation as a DJ who generates a euphoric vibe by complimenting his smooth mixing skills with slammin’ track selection. Currently using the Serato Scratch Live system by Rane, Aaron is now able to utilize cutting-edge technology to supply his sets with the hottest tracks the breaks scene has to offer, as well as playing unreleased material, and dropping special remixes of songs that he has created.
